How we check and download customer running balance

There is a financial summary of the customer given. Through you, you can analyze customer running balance and total cash flows. 

Here is an example given for analysis. 

Sales 

The purpose of this section is to check how much the customer owes, before calling for payment follow-up, before creating a new invoice and for quick financial review. 

Current Month 

  • Displays total sales invoices created for this customer in the current month. 
    Example: AED 11,300.00 
    This includes all invoices dated within the current calendar month. 

Payments 

  • Shows total payments received from the customer (allocated payments). 
    Example: AED 5,000.00 
  • Only payments linked to invoices are reflected here. 

Balance 

  • Shows the outstanding amount the customer still owes. 
    Formula used by system:
  • Balance = Total Sales – Payments 
  • Example:
    11,300 – 5,000 = AED 6,300.00 

Invoices Summary Panel 

The second block is related to invoices of customer, showing you current month and current year information. 

This panel shows invoice statistics. 

Fields Explanation 

Current Month 

  • Number of invoices created in the current month. 

FY-2026 

  • Total invoices created in the current financial year. 

Total Open Invoices—This helps track pending collections. 

  • Number of invoices that are:
  • Unpaid 
  • Partially paid 

Cash Flow Section 

This area shows the amount received in the last 30 days. 

Example: AED 5,000.00 

This includes:

  • All payments received in the last 30 days 
  • Regardless of invoice date 

Purpose 

  • Helps evaluate recent payment activity 
  • Useful for credit control decisions 
  • Useful before approving new credit
